Aim: Vibration and acoustic related problem represent an important aspect in the design of new means of transport (aircraft, automobile, train, ship) and of industrial products in general. Research in the specific fields, both related to the nmerial predictive method that the experimental testing techniques have been strongly improved in the last decade and makes available new instrument to the modern engineer. This special session means to represent an opportunity for scientist involved in this field to share latest results of their researchs and to present the opportunities of these approaches to a new concept of product design.
